Praying the Revival Practices

Use these prayers at your daily prayer station to seek God with urgency and dependence, intercede for the lost, and keep the Revival Practices at the center of your walk with Him.
The Revival Prayer
Father, I boldly pray today for a revival of Christianity in the United States. I surrender myself to be used
by You in this.
Use me and our church to raise up spiritual leaders in the Next Generation.
As we preach Your Word and lift Jesus high, bring revival in our hearts, our church, our cities, our region, our Next Generation, and our nation.
I claim Jesus’ promise when He said,
“Whatever you ask in my name,
this I will do” (John 14:13)
Father, grant this request for Your glory,
I ask in Jesus’ name.
Weekly Practice Prayers
These weekly prayers carry you through the six Revival Practices, one for each day, with Sunday set apart for the gathered church. Add them to your prayer station and let them shape your week, your year, and the decades ahead.
Monday
Lord, help me have Your urgency for how desperately this world needs Your Kingdom. Demons and deception never rest in destroying my neighbors and nation. As I depend fully on You, strengthen me to act with urgency for Your Kingdom. Protect my church and fellow believers. Empower me as You empowered David, Samson, Peter and Paul.
Tuesday
Lord, I purpose in my heart to have no other god before You. Reveal to me any person or thing that I have worshipped above You or looked to for security, identity and fulfillment. I cast those idols down and choose to worship You in first place. I choose to Iove You with all my heart, all my soul, all my strength, and all my mind.
WEDNesday
Lord, continue growing me to pray for souls, salvations, spiritual matters. Keep opening my eyes to see people as eternal souls. Lead me today to pray for growth in the believers I see and for spiritual dominion of Your Kingdom in my city, area schools, businesses and region.
Thursday
Lord, I need Your compassion for the souls around me. Give me Your love for people, and give me boldness to open my mouth and ask spiritual questions, to invite people to You.
Friday
Lord, I pray for the young people in my church, family and life. Set them apart and protect them. Help them choose You and Your Word. Empower them to lead lasting revival for Your Kingdom. Use them to lead this nation to You, and show me how to invest into them.
Saturday
Lord, the world around me has such a short attention span, but I know that You work across generations and decades. Grant me perseverance to faithfully do my part in revival, every single day, for the rest of my time on earth, until I see you face to face. Raise up “a church in every city” that is revived and awake. Help us persevere in Your work over generations.
Sunday
Father on this day when Jesus rose from the dead, fill our congregation with Your resurrection power. Holy Spirit, be fanned into flame. Anoint the preaching of Your Word and the worship of Your name so that lost souls come to salvation today and so that believers are stirred, awakened and revived in our love for You. Give strength to my pastors. Grant me the faith and urgency of those first apostles in Acts 1, after they had seen You risen from the dead.
Prayer Lists
Use these prayer lists at your prayer station, along with the daily Revival Prayer, as you practice Kingdom Prayer for souls, salvations, and eternal matters. You can write them on any paper you have handy, or you can download a printable PDF.
Salvation Prayer List
Of people you know, love, or see every day, identify those who do not have a relationship with God through Jesus. Invite the Holy Spirit to guide you to the faces and names of people whose souls may not be saved through Christ. God placed these people in your life so that you can play a role in bringing them to Christ. God wants to enlist you in daily praying for these souls.
The Salvation Prayer List is a place for you to write these names. Post this list where you will see it daily. Perhaps you could put it next to your Daily Revival Prayer. Ask God to grow you as a mature believer who daily intercedes for these souls to be saved. Some of these names may be people who you’re just unsure of their salvation. As you pray for them, God will open doors for you to have conversations to identify if they know Christ or not.
Next Generation Prayer List
Take a moment to think of the young people in your life – kids, grandkids and other young people who God has brought into your life. They could be months old, college aged or even younger adults. God desires for you to have a “grandmother Lois” or “mother Eunice” influence on these young people (see 2 Timothy 1:5).
At your daily prayer station, next to your Revival Prayer and your Salvation Prayer List, begin a page for the souls and spiritual vitality of The Next Generation. You can write the names of Next Generation believers in your church and in your family. One place to start is with John the disciple’s simple desire, that they “walk in truth.”
